Italian Cup
AC Milan – Juventus, Under 1 Goal at Half Time, Stake 6/10, odd 1.92 at Pinnacle Sports (0-0 at Half Time – WIN)
PREVIEW: Juventus is currently coming to this game after a shocking 2-1 defeat at Verona, after they took the lead in the 65th minute. It was Juve’s second loss in a row away after another 2-1 defeat at Napoli and it’s a bad sign for the Torino team, who is currently second in Serie A and has tough competition this season from both Inter and Lazio who go neck to neck.
AC Milan on the other hand comes after a stunning 4-2 loss against city rivals Inter Milano, after they led 2-0 at HT. It was AC Milan’s first defeat since 22 December when they were thrashed 5-0 by Atalanta at Bergamo.
Juventus defeated AC Milan in the last 9 consecutive encounters, a record that never happened before. AC Milan’s last win with Juventus was in Supercup in December 2016, when they won 2-1 after penalty kicks. In fact their last win in Serie A was the same year, in October a 1-0 at San Siro.
The reason why I’m going for few goals on the first half, is that in the last 5 games there was always 1 goal at most scored before half time. There’s always a pshychological war between these 2 teams and the rivalry is so intense, that they rarely go all in from the 1st half. Madness always begin in the second half where there’s usually at least 1-2 goals scored. Another bet I was looking for is over 1.5 in the second half, but given the way both teams play, there’s a possibility there will even be a goaless draw or a 1-0 for either team. Nobody knows what can happen in the second half because if one teams score fast after HT, there could be rampage, but the more we go into the game, the most likely both teams will try not to lose instead of attacking more. I think the qualifying team will be known after 2nd leg, this game will be more tactical.
AC Milan has only Duarte unavailable, while Juve has a whole list of injuries: Bernardeschi, Chiellini, Danilo, Demiral and Kedira are unavailable, which means their defense can be in trouble, which was visible in the game against Verona. Lucky for them, AC Milan is not the best attacking team either and even with the return of Ibrahimovic, their lack of quality is visible in the attack.
