PREVIEW: Riteriai is currently on the last position in A-Liga stands with only 1 victory in the last 16 games. The quality of the team has dropped dramatically after the departure of striker Zavickius who managed to score 8 goals last year. Last year Riteriai finished in 3rd place after Suduva and Zalgiris, the 2 teams that have been dominating Lithuanian championship in the past years.Derry City on the other hand is constantly in the top 5 teams in Ireland. They’re currently on the 5th position with 11 points and last season got the Europa League ticket because they won the Cup after finishing in 4th place in the league.
There’s a big difference between these 2 teams and especially between these 2 leagues and I see Derry clear favourites here. I expect Derry to qualify with no problems here.
