PREVIEW: This is one of the most important games of the season for both teams, because the winner will play PSG in the Cup final and will go to Europa League, no matter their league position. For Rennes is not a problem because they’re on the 3rd position, but St. Etienne is closer to relegation so this game will be all in. However, there’s a lot of players unavailable both for St. Etienne and Rennes. Hamouma, Khazri, Monnet Paquet, Youssouf only to remember a few for St. Etienne, while Martin, Johansson, Morel and Guclu are questionable for Rennes. Past 2 games Rennes won easily and another important aspect is that St. Etienne hasn’t beat Rennes at home since 2013, where they won 1-0 in Cup. I don’t think St. Etienne has the power to beat Rennes tonight because they have a lot of player issues and the situation at the team is pretty tensed because of their league position and the way they play.
